Dog Training & Socialisation

What is Our Dog Training and Socialisation Class?

Our informative, friendly and force-free dog training classes are suitable for dogs who are aged 5 months and over. Classes run for 6 weeks and aim to provide your dog with the training they need to successfully navigate their adolescence and adulthood.

Why Should I Take My Dog to Training and Socialisation Classes?

Our dog training classes are the logical next step to take once you have finished our 6-week puppy training classes with your pup. However, they are also an excellent option for owners who have adopted a young adult dog who has not yet done any training so far.

What do our Dog Training and Socialisation Classes Cover?

During your time in our dog training and socialisation class, you and your dog will learn about:

  • How to maintain your dog’s focus on you, even in a distracting environment.
  • Teaching your dog a reliable recall to keep them safe and allow them more freedom on walks.
  • Loose-lead walking techniques to bring calmness to your dog walks.
  • Fully understanding your dog’s behaviour and why they behave the way they do.
  • Promoting impulse control so your dog is able to think clearly instead of rushing into things.
  • Dealing with individual problem behaviours that you may be experiencing with your dog.
